A licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Bachelors's in Fine Arts (specialty, painting)  as well as a double minor in Health and Sociology. Recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a part of the American Counseling Association (ACA), and a former member of Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society in Counseling. I have worked in various settings and levels of care within the Counseling field, holding positions of leadership, consulting, and advocacy for over a decade. I have trained extensively in areas of crisis, trauma, addictions, and mental illness. Previous work includes managing a therapeutic treatment center for adolescent victims of human trafficking, Clinical manager for an IOP/PHP agency, and working in a Residential Treatment Facility for dual diagnosis and court-mandated high-risk adolescents.

 I am armored with knowledge that I openly pass on to my clients to educate and support as best possible. I believe that to open into productive therapeutic work, a warm supportive, and attentive atmosphere is needed and strive to create this for my clients.

I believe deeply in change, as life is extremely difficult and each individual is in a battle of their own. It is my want and wish, to help each person through their personal journey in a way that will best suit them for success and growth. My approach is tailored to best meet my clients. I use eclectic theories, creative therapeutic interventions, and a trauma-focused lens in my work. I believe therapy is an investment in yourself. I am very dedicated to my craft and am honored to be a part of your journey.
